I managed to squelch it by creating a procmail rule that puts anything with "Re: [Pen-l] the Master speaks" into /dev/null, something that is probably beyond the grasp of most PEN-L'ers. You can set something up like this in most email software like Thunderbird or Outlook but the spam ends up in trash when you'd really like it to disappear before you receive it on your computer. Maybe other geeks have some ideas. I should add that I am getting the spam without the "Re: [Pen-l] the Master speaks". I am still working on how to kill that as well, which will probably be a procmail formula to send certain sending ip addresses into /dev/null. _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
