Not clear,
obviously, which way things could go in Haiti over the medium term,
but I think the history suggests that people outside should keep an
open mind about what the overall path forward might look like.

I was not part of that pessimism. By accident I had a very minor role to 
play here to supply used wheelchair parts for war disabled rehab shops in 
Nicaraqua during the contra war.

Space limits in print I understand that too. I tend to ramble.
