I doubt that this movie will have any impact on race relations in the USA given its grindhouse, fantasy-based, comic book focus. Consider "Machete", another movie in this genre directed by long-time QT pal and co-producer Robert Rodriguez that stars Danny Trejo in a Django-style revenge-taking role. Do you think that movie had any impact on immigration laws? People go to grindhouse movies for the same reason they play video games or watch NFL football. It is an escape. _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
