Actually, US public support for the drone strike policy is falling, as people learn more about it, as indicated by comparing recent polling with polling a year ago. Furthermore, a recent UNC study indicated that the risk of civilian casualties has an equal effect to the risk of US military casualties in depressing public support for military action, including drone strikes.
