Wouldn't fur products be more expensive than the 'faux' part? So what kind
of marketing gimmick is this?

Denmark, a socially very liberal country thinks nothing of expensive fur
coats. The winters can be severe enough that furs might be justified as
pragmatic outerwear. But then non-Danish liberal sensibilities come in the
way...
