I posted the quote because it is quite interesting to have, if you teach 
economics. Here you have a chief economist at Harvard virtually admitting that 
the textbooks are wrong.

The other reason is, that the quote indicates that bourgeois thinking is 
becoming more pragmatic, i.e. market fundamentalism is not taken too literally 
these days. Sometimes you have to do unusual things to save the system, things 
which are contrary to a textbook approach.
