And workers are in no position to reject their trickery, to unmask the hidden ideology, because they remain profoundly ignorant of the mathematical sciences. This is why math is today a weapon of the oppressors. ... We should study math most seriously, with a genuine desire to appropriate it and turn it into an instrument to save the planet from catastrophe and help those who have the least to free themselves."
