You should be ashamed to be posting such drivel to PEN-L. At the time of 
the eruptions in Tahrir Square, Egypt ranked 4 places above Syria in the 
UN HDI statistics. The same thing could have been said about Egypt but 
if you are some poor slob selling batteries or candy bars on the street, 
what fucking difference does it matter that it looked like Rodeo Drive 
all around you.
