I looked at the percentage of population working in the USA and found that it 
declined from 72.2% in 1990 to 66.6% in 2011. 


I looked at the census data and found that the wage income as a percent of 
total personal income declined from 69.2% in 1990 to 63.7% in 2010. Part of the 
decline can be attributed to increase in SS payments.
