This is not quite accurate, since the concept of a "jobless recovery" has
been known already for at least thirty years.

 

But it is true that, as I mentioned, the crisis has a different meaning for
bosses and for workers. 

 

I also mentioned the ideological crisis: it becomes difficult to justify
high unemployment, particularly given that the financial crash was not the
workers' fault. Therefore, the mass media have to create new concepts to
justify the position of the rich, and condemn the poor and the unemployed.
