Thanks for posting this. I didn't listen to whatever Obama said. I usually click off the sound whenever clips of his speechs are used even in passing. There is no point. A simple litany of actions explains far better than words. Snowden has been rendered stateless a devastating form of exile that exposes him to whatever winds geopolitics blows across the waste.
The forced downing of Evo Morales was a clear indication of the scope of what the US will do to get Snowden. It is interesting to note that Snowden has stayed within the envelop of the mass surveillance states of China and the Russia, because they will and can protect themselves against the US and European nets. It seems important to remember that Manning's crime was exposing war crimes and double dealing with allies.
