Reuters provides two special reports which describe how the Pentagon, the imposing recipient of the largest budget allocations of the US federal government, is spectacularly unable to account for its own use of funds, and, mysteriously, buys all kinds of inventory that it has no need for (nowadays it resells army equipment to the US police forces).
