"From Marxism to Neoliberalism: Ronnie Kasrils on How Mandela & ANC
Shifted Economic Views"
www.democracynow.org/2013/12/12/from_marxism_to_neoliberalism_ronnie_kasrils?autostart=true&get_clicky_key=suggested_next_story
Ronnie Karils first met Mandela in 1962 at age 23 and worked with him
thereafter through and past the Davos World Economic Forum in 1992.
Kasrils describes the "Faustian bargain" Mandela and the ANC faced and
thus how it was decided to accept the neo-liberal economic model for
South Africa.
If you have the time and interest I'd recommend the earlier portion of
today's /Democracy Now!/ interview with Karils at
"The Anti-Apartheid Underground: Ronnie Kasrils on Meeting Nelson
Mandela in an ANC Safe House in 1962"
