Gilbert Achcar (Professor of Development Studies and International
Relations at SOAS at the University of London) will present on his
recent book _The People Want: A Radical Exploration of the Arab
Uprising_, a study of the 2011 protests across the Arab world.  The book 
focuses on deeper economic features that led to the social problems
