The KKE is not on the playing field and shows no sign of wanting to be on the playing field. They're for leaving Europe. They have never expressed any interest in participating in the government, by joining with Syriza or anybody else.
Syriza is full of ex-communists - like its leader. That's why they're ex - because they want to be on the playing field.
