Over on LBO-talk, Brian, who identifies himself as a "queer Buddhist resister," says that The _Incredibles_ is pro-queer [!], celebrating the right to be different, and Justin holds that the movie reflects an argument for the tort reform.

The dominant ideology, which any popular movie has to carry, cannot
survive if it is totally coherent.  It has to make room for thoughts
and feelings of various factions in society.
