A second cousin of mine was very prominent in Berkeley radical activity during 
the late
60s.  Later, I was surprised to learn that she became the special assistant to 
the American
ambassador to Russia if you years later.  The last I saw her, she was in the 
hospital for
cancer, which she seems to have picked up from the intense microwaves that were 
supposedly
directed at the embassy.  A number of the workers there came down with cancer.
