AN INVITATION TO OHIO IMMIGRANT RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS AND SUPPORTERS

National Day of Action for Immigrant Rights

April 27, 2005 - Washington DC

Dear Friends,

We are at a crucial moment in the struggle for full human and labor rights
to the millions of immigrants living and working in the US.

Senators from both parties are working on a bi-partisan legalization
proposal for the immigrant workers who work hard to contribute to the
greatness of this country. President bush is also pushing for a work visa
program. But the racist groups in congress are decided to stop anything that
would favor immigrants. The House just passed a bill introduced by
congressman Sensenbrenner to build a biggest wall on the border with Mexico
and eliminate driver license rights for immigrants.

THIS IS THE TIME OUR VOICES NEED TO BE HEARD.

Immigrants and supporters from all over the US are calling for a NATIONAL
DAY OF ACTION IN WASHINGTON DC on Wednesday April 27, 2005.

We will meet with Congressional representatives to demand permanent
residency rights for immigrants who have been working hard and contributing
to our country, and we will raise our voices against the racist attacks on
immigrants.

IMMIGRANTS DESERVE RIGHTS AND DIGNITY.

THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN DO: (1) Endorse this Day of Action. Send an email to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (2) Come with us to DC. Our reps in Congress need to hear
from the voices of immigrants and non-immigrants alike that giving rights to
immigrants will benefit all America, a nation of immigrants. (3) Donate as
many seats as you can to help others go.

Any amount you can donate will be appreciated. Make your tax-deductible

Miercoles Abril 27, 2005 -- Washington DC

Amigos/as,

propuestas racistas.

INMIGRANTES MERECEN DIGNIDAD Y DERECHOS.

ESTO ES LO QUE USTED PUEDE HACER: (1) Endorse este dia de accion enviando un
email a [EMAIL PROTECTED]; (2) VENGA CON NOSOTROS A WASHINGTON.
