Maybe look at what Blinder has written since his tenure. For an uncritical account, Rubin's book. max Max, do you (or anyone else) know of a good - and candid - account of economic policy making in the Clinton years? Surely there were *some* skirmishing from the dissenters. (Also, Tyson speaks of the "changes extracted" re Social Security from the '97 report...one can't help wondering to what debates these changes related. You know Robin Blackburn's view.)
