When the the supply chain is subtle and involves inputs from a varied/diverse complex web of sectors and subsectors, then the production structure is versatile ( quality related to the input/output framework of more developed economic formation). All other mentioned factors mitigating the rise in exports on this thread duly considered, will this case of slow exports involve something more than histerisis in the sense that the smooth flow bwteen sectors of production ensuring a capacity response has been hit as a result of a prolonged status of import dependency. i.e. is the productyion side no longer the mean lean machine it used to be?
