Greetings Economists, Thank you Adrienne, Carrol I can't tell you how heartening your words are. We need that kind of response as a whole movement. For the most part things are not perfect in building a movement. I'd rather it come from you who has been our friend and felt shared circumstances than many others.
It seems to me that as the whole progressive movement finds solidarity and unity there will be a moment when we can debate these tangled threads and that is what true unity comes out of. That the whole movement decides the commonality of true solidarity. What I appreciate in the Disability Rights Movement is the respect we feel for one and the other. The sheer fact that we can disagree and move forward as a movement. And overall how across the country so many disabled people came forward with one voice. At any rate Carrol I welcome your comment and take the criticism you feel of the Disabled Rights Movement over Schiavo seriously. thanks, Doyle
