The ruling exposes all the cant about private property.  If I want to
build a mall, I can have the city declare it to be in the public
interest, & pay "fair market value" for your property, which does not
take account of all of the costs of dislocation.  I saw an article a
couple of days ago describing how westerners were getting disgusted with
all the drilling around them.  They thought that the "sagebrush
rebelling" was about their own property rights.  What fools.//
