In my view, those who pay for and run MoveOn don't own the Democratic
Party -- they mainly mobilize activists (sometimes including those
who are like myself opposed to the Democratic Party) for those who
actually own it, not necessarily because they like the DLC, but
because they don't want to support anything to the left or right of
the Democratic Party.
