some of the Noble Savage myth comes from this experience. A lot of
European indentured servants found it easier to live with the Indians.

did anyone see the "Education of Little Tree," a movie that came out a
few years ago? Supposedly, it's a kid's movie. But it's about cultural
genocide. Little Tree's father is a "white Indian," BTW.
