i agree with your thoughts on blog vs wiki. the blog does provide
searchable archives but its not the same thing as a wiki... its more
useful for thoughts/comments that we want to preserve in a better way
than the list archives. it also provides some usability advantages: easy
page creation and "bookmarklets"/editors, which make adding text and
pasting from other news items fairly easy.
i also agree on both counts regarding a wiki: it is more useful as an
information repository and, unfortunately, is more difficult to maintain.
please do not add any real content though, until we decide on a format.
i do want you to try out a wiki and a general purpose site tool. i am
setting up the latter right now... more in a day...
