yeah, it stretches my faith in hidden forces to the max to imagine
Cheney-Rove killing a bunch of people at the Pentagon and at a major
financial center.
This reminds me of a Mario Puzo book, "The Fourth K". I love Puzo's
writing and I consider him to be the best writer on the subject of
power struggles. This book is not quite upto the standards of "The
Godfather" and "The Sicilian", but anyway it involves a Karl Rove-like
CIA chief who allows violent acts (including an assasination of a
Presidential double and a nuclear attack on New York) to happen so
that his beloved President would reap political benefits.
