Sheehan in Buffalo last night called the U.S. government "fascist" and listed 8-10 peoople, starting with G.W.B., who should be impeached and tried for war crimes. She said that the problem goes far beyond the person of Bush (who she described as the "boil" of an infection) and that the election of a Democratic majority in the House wouldn't help. Today she leads a march across our border to Canada -- "Peace has No Borders" -- to meet military war resisters who fled to Canada, families of whom were here last night. The Buffalo News was accurate about what she said yesterday, but the day earlier tried to undercut her in a front page story.
I believe she is ready to consider 9-11 as an inside operation. So, I got a book of THE HIDDEN HISTORY OF 9-11-2001 to her. Its titling takes off from I.F. Stone's THE HIDDEN HISTORY OF THE KOREAN WAR and was suggested by one of our authors. Peter Dale Scott has an excellent book on the JFK assassination: DEEP POLITICS AND THE DEATH OF JFK. He believes that to be a turning point in American history and would have no use for Doug's simplistic statement about JFK which appeared yesterday on this list.
