Greetings Economists, and hi Yoshie,
I am fond of Jean Genet. Michael Foucault used to live in my
neighborhood in the Castro. I've been off line for a few days. I'm
sorry for the tardiness of the reply.

I want to say a little bit more. I am pleased to see your political
thinking maturing in depth. I like the originality and thought you
bring to things. I count this as a sign that the left is developing
here again. As always I think your general stands most completely
encompass my own views.

Some day I want to see many of the neglected elements of the left, all
waiting for a left that rises to encompass their loving bosoms to show
me the way. Jean Genet is one of the best examples from history who
taught me so much. The many ways in which he transgressed yet could
embrace the Palestinians. If I could get the right support I would
love to make art/movies about the gay life as a left life.

At any rate it looks to me like you are right about the anti-war
movement. I think you are exactly correct to question the attacks on
Iran about gay men being executed. In short I support you as a
comrade.
yours,
Doyle Saylor
