7/23/2006. Preliminary schedule for the plenaries and David Gordon Lecture at the URPE Summer Workshop/Retreat. Please note: 1) the meetings are one week earlier than usual, to avoid the conflict we always have with some schools starting in late August, 2) we have a new camp, with improved lodging and continued great food, just up river from New York City, and 3) the camp wants a rough count of how many will come (for food preparation), so please get your reservations in to the National Office by July 28. Professor of Economics at the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana-Xochimilco.
His most recent book (2006) is La Gestión de Agua Urbana en México.
For those who do not read Spanish, Wealth, Poverty and Sustainable Development
is a recent book that reflects a similar ecological approach. It is bilingual
and can now be downloaded free.

Fred Rosen, a long-time central figure in NACLA (North American Congress
on Latin America). His most recent book is an edited collection, Latin
America After Neoliberalism: Turning the Tide? (The New Press, 2006)
