I have been completely swamped with the beginning of the new semester. I've been thinking about the difference between the discussions of Mexico and Iran. We have people here who really know about Mexico, in contrast to Iran.
I'm really not seeing much new coming out in the posts on Iran. I would rather see new people jumping in about new subjects, especially subjects in which they have expertise or questions about matters in which list members might be able to contribute, such as Walt's question about text books. The list has had a flurry of new members, much more so than in any period that I can remember. So please let's try to move on to other matters. By the way, regarding the article about oil futures, the oil analyst, Dell, was on NPR last night introducing the term "contango."
