In one respect, yes, but one of the things that Tehran must do is to
drive a wedge between the US and the EU, as well as the US and
China/Russia.  It has so far successfully done so in the latter case,
and now it needs to work more on the former.  The signals from the
Europeans have already gotten better compared to what they were
earlier this year (e.g.,

I'd like to see Iran drag Russia, China, and the EU (and, if
possible, Japan, too) into creating a multipolar world.
