CounterPunch should have gotten a more accurate transcript to
translate into English. E.g., this part:

I'll never trust them again!!! Abel= Evo, Mullah=Lula! And Bush????
.
Just a thought. When I worked in an auto part store, there was a standardized, but copyrighted numbering system used like the Dewey Decimal system called Lester Numbers:
.
Sell Alternator. Aug 27, 2006 Product Name: Alternator Model Number: Lester 13309 Place of Origin: China Specifications: 1) >>> ยท Alternator ...
.
Briefly, a 13 prefix is a generator, a 14 and 15... alternator, but I'm out of touch and it looks like they recycled the 13s to alternator, now that almost nothing drivable has a generator anymore.
16s are starters.

The point being... There are *intentional* mistakes in the full five numbers that define the specific part built into the catalogs. It's a form of copy protection.

Perhaps CounterPunch misprinted intentionally to dissuade bloggers and re-posters.

OTOH: The auto part store I worked at was above-and-beyond full service, kept catalogs on parts for years... back to the '40s (in the 90s). I was part auto part salesman, part bookkeeper, and a goodly portion reference librarian. We made a fortune from those mistakes by simply looking at the number stamped on the part itself when a customer got, and tried to install, the wrong $19.95 rebuilt (hardly) starter from a chain store for the umpteenth time.

What CP did might persuade people to browse other sources for their information, henceforth leaving CP with a reduced readership. If it was purposeful, it wasn't bright.
