Right. These are even objects of academic interest. Perry Anderson's reputation as an essayist was built, in part, by his Considerations on *Western* Marxism, one of the most sterile components of Western Leftism -- the defining characteristic of Western Marxism being (according to Anderson) its divorce from working class practice.
