More federal coordination practice with state and local agencies.

This time, the focus, at least the focus of this article, seems to be
sex offenders, who, like pimps and gang members, "hide in their mommy's
closet" when pursued and are easy to find. But keep in mind that it's a
coordination exercise, and the type of criminal, or the difficulty of
pursuit is really quite irrelevant.

How many Jews were typically rounded up at a time to be put in the boxcars?

Does anyone on the list have that information handy?

In all, officials said they caught 10,733 fugitives. Among them were
364 gang members and thousands of others sought on kidnapping,
robbery, burglary, carjacking and weapons charges. More than 230
weapons were collected.

Those totals represent a fraction of doors knocked on, liquor store
drive-bys, construction site surveillances and tips chased down by
agents during the weeklong sweep.
