In the U.S. at the present time the cry of "fascist" is merely a
cover-up for unporincipled tailing of the DP.

CB: Actually, Carrol has the tail wagging the dog. He elevates the tactical
question of attitude to the D.P. over the principled question of defense
against fascist danger ( principled since the Nazi holocaust). Attitudes
toward bourgeois parties are not questions of principle , but tactics.
