Bill Lerach plays a bit part in the fall of Enron and the reporter
of this article Peter Ellkind is coauthor of "Smartest Guys in the
Room" chronicling the story of Enron.
I was on a panel with Lerach a few years ago. He opened his
presentation by saying he was out there every day fighting the good
fight against the rich and powerful on behalf of...shareholders!
He was a likeable guy, though.
