I agree entirely (and not just about knowledge, but also action). Hence
my earlier post regarding the "progressive blogosphere". We have nothing
equivalent (though it is arguable how effective Internet based community
building is), which permits them to our audience, some parts of our
work/output, and our successes (so you see the blogs both mocking
protest marches while simultaneously appropriating them selectively for
substantiating their claims).
