FWIW, Vista is not ready for prime time anyway, as exhibited by the shop computer's inability to resume from 'resume mode' when booted from a lan without an exquisitely elaborate re-boot routine that dumps out into a bios screen asking if you'd care to delete the old 'resume' information and start from scratch.
