A whore for PBS? That's really obnoxious.
Doyle; Please, I don't call you obnoxious, keep your personal jibes to yourself. Debate the points, have fun with my humor. PBS is currently very right wing. One little pip from the left of center is not going to make any difference. At what edge or boundary is such a vantage point going to matter? For the left in the U.S. it does not matter. He really is just a liberal voice. And they the liberals are feeling like putting up some stronger opposition and that gives the left such as it is some room to maneuver to build something or other. When I go over to read James Wolcott's blog he goes on and on in a manner much more rococo than my little remarks just posted. That gets tiresome for me, but I enjoy his point of view going after the right. The left is distinct from the liberal part of the spectrum. If Chomsky had a bully pulpit on PBS I'd play hands off of PBS. But not for Moyers. I require stronger medicine against neo-liberalism. Doyle
