No, Jim, they can't watch the RCTV soaps so they won't know if Ramon
was the father (as the Onion put it). They have to watch the soaps on
Venevision and Televen instead although at night the new TVes is
running a hot Brazilian serial about a beautiful conflicted priest
and the woman who loves him. It'll be a while before we see if that
outdraws Chavez's appearances on Ch 8 [VTV].
