I think the 'depth' just takes more time and a different strategy than in formats with 'project oriented' goals. However, although I CAN NOT visualize a topic that would fire the interests of EVERYONE who reads/contributes on the list and I understand that it takes more than two (posters) to make for 'discussion', I take umbrage at off-list bullying of ANY moderator. Heh... I've stated that off-list to Michael NUMEROUS TIMES. Whiners & bullies allowed to operate in anonymity affect EVERYONE on the list with no recourse. Their behavior is a direct attempt to circumvent any democratic process the list might ascribe to. I've seen it before... usually practiced by provocateurs, knowing or not. It's part of that 'vanguard' [snarl... woof!] thang that I detest to the very core of my principles. I'm attempting to pitch some details out there, on whatever topic interests me, to be batted around, garner some interest, and hopefully be contested, elaborated on, de-constructed, demolished, verified, etc, for the benefit of all the list's readers/posters.. I AM NOT intending a monologue or (literal) dialogue, nor would I desire that form of discussion. Now, I'm going to take a two week break.
