FWIW, my wife had an important reason to vote for Obama rather than Clinton in the CA primary: he's _less annoying_ to listen to on TV and radio. After 8 years of listening to W (one of the most annoying public speakers in history), that's an important reason.
But then, it turned out she was registered Peace & Freedom and couldn't vote for either of them. (I was registered as a Dem and voted for Gravel, despite his rocky reputation.)
