"Creative labs have said that documentation and tools for programming the
SB Live will be available in 6 to 9 months [written
January 1999]. Since then the person they hired to work internally
on this has reported that they will be only doing binary drivers.
Until documentation appears I'd strongly recommend avoiding Creative
products. They have NDA problems in general. "
