Hmmm .......... I think you've got the whole idea of modem upside down.
Ppl tend to think that a dual modem could make a speed difference as in
dual processors or extra RAM. That's not true for modems which has its
physical(line) limitations.
However I read from somewhere before that two modems could be used in
the sense that one modem for uploading and another for downloading ...
but I doubt this could make any visible difference.
Read the MODEM HOWTO! IMHO that HOWTO is one of the few enjoyable
reading materials.
