Hi members,
For your information, My-Linux Organization will be participating on the
Multimedia Asia 99 from 23 - 26 September. Here I'd like to call for
volunteer to handle My-Linux booth there
Place : MINES
Setup
Time : 6:00 PM
Date : 22 September 1999
Here, we'll setting up the booth, do some decoration hopefully.
Exhibition
Time : 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Date : 23 - 26 September 1999
Dress : Casual
Here, I'd like to extend my invitation for the volunteers to be involved
with setting up Servers to be used during the Exhibition, this is good for
anybody who want to have more knowledge in Linux, becuase.....
You will be involved in setting up Linux on Alpha Hardware, yes...
Thanks to Compaq Malaysia who are generous enough to sponsor My-Linux with
the Servers. There are two server to be set up. Model DS-10, if you read
news recently, DS-10 is targeting Linux Market. Configuration: Alpha
466MHz CPU, 1Gb RAM, and.. few suprise things are waiting for you.
I'm looking at 6 people to involve in this round, you can say that this is
a free training on installing Linux on Alpha provided by MLCC.
I'll be doing the installation at 6:00PM on this Tuesday (21 September
1999). If anybody interested to join, please email me to show you interest
at [EMAIL PROTECTED] with your contact information (ie: phone number)
and also provide me your experience on Linux, what you can do, and how
many years have you been playing with Linux OS. FYI, I'll be using RedHat
6.0 (Alpha). Don't miss this opportunity...
