o----=[ Penguin @ My - Linux ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) ]=----o

I have a small network of 2 computers connected by a ethernet card. I
managed to setup everything and even managed ping to each machine. However
when I tried to telnet and ftp the other machine didn't recognise my
username and password. On both machines I have a user name and password and
am able to login from the console.
I wonder if there is any thing I need to setup for the ftpd or telnetd? I
thought this things should work by default???? Please help.
