Last Sunday evening Trumps war adviser John Bolton Iran with
"relentless violence" threatened, "as a response to a series of
disturbing and escalation of indications and warnings", and the
dispatch of the aircraft carrier "USS Abraham Lincoln" and a bomber
squadron in the Region of the Persian Gulf proclaimed. It's going to
be a "clear and unequivocal message" to the Iranian government.

An employee in the US Department of defense suggested that it was a
reaction to a plan to attack Iran. There was "specific and credible
information" about planned attacks of Iran, and its representative on
the U.S. troops in the Region. Potential targets of the US armed
