I just tried running my profile/benchmark (which I successfully used under Solaris10u5) and am seeing similar problems. Under openSuse11, for example, I get the following output:
# filebench my_fileio_micro parsing profile for config: randomread2k Running /files/nv99_vbox202_opensuse110-ufs-my_fileio_micro-Oct_9_2008-07h_44m_35s/randomread2k/thisrun.f FileBench Version 1.3.4 [SNIP] 30950: 9.253: Starting 1 rand-read instances 30955: 9.262: Starting 16 rand-thread threads This profile is setup to run for 600s (10 minutes) and is still at the "Starting 16 rand-thread threads" stage 30 minutes later. Any idea where to start looking for the problem, here?
