FileBench users:

Version 1.4.7 has now been pushed to the OpenSolaris gate, and also uploaded to SourceForge. Features and fixes since the last SourceForge update (v1.4.4) include:

* Ability to open files within filesets in read only mode
* Some sanity checks so that if you specify both an "fd" of an open file and a fileset name it will fail if they refer to different filesets. * Ability to specify a warmup time in the .prof scripts that will run the workloads for a specified time before beginning to collect statistics.
* Fixed a few problems with .prof syntax checking.
* Ability to disable collecting cpu utilization stats from /proc, if that is causing a performance impact. * The ability to remove filesets after a particular workload has been run, to keep .prof files with many configurations form filling up storage. * A sanity check when running fs_flush.pl that checks that the correct file system is being flushed. * A new filebench.pl command line option that allows you to override variable assignments in the "DEFAULT" section. * A few fixes to the fs_flush.pl script so it works better with some zfs configurations.
* A few other fixes to things that were breaking with certain compilers
