You should be in the testsuite-0.1-20080422 directory. Which directory are you 
running the tests from.

Yes, should see lines saying which tests are being run. From the example below:

Running ./libpfm/libpfm-run.exp ...
Running ./pfmon/pfmon-run.exp ...
